Christine R. Eschenfelder has been with the firm since the summer of 2008 and was admitted to the Utah Bar in October of 2008.
Christine graduated with a J.D. from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law. During law school, Christine received the CALI Award in International Human Rights and served an internship at the Immigration Court in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a member of the Public Interest Law Organization and worked as a volunteer, preparing ‘Violence Against Women Act’ immigration petitions and asylum petitions.
Before attending law school, Christine graduated on the Dean’s List from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in International Studies.
Her practice is focused on business and family-based immigration, criminal defense, and family law.
Christine's immigration practice has allowed her to work with clients from around the world. She has assisted clients through consular processing from London to Ankara to South Africa and many consulates between. She has worked with small and large Utah companies to petition for international employees. She especially enjoys her family-based immigration practice and works to keep families together in the United States.
As she has been contracted to provide indigent criminal defense services to residents of Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, Taylorsville, and West Jordan City, Christine has provided excellant, fast-paced, criminal representation to hundreds of defendants. She has assisted her clients through every step of the criminal process, from negotiating advantageous plea bargains to representation in bench and jury trials.
Christine is committed to being highly accessible to her clients and to providing clear and effective legal assistance and collaboration.
